SUMMARY:Marden Repair Café Session 5th October 2024
DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nWe offer a repair service for portable household ite
 ms of a mechanical\, electrical or ceramic nature\, tool sharpening and si
 mple sewing and clothing repairs. We can also advise on repair options for
  wooden furniture\, providing it is hand-portable and you can transport it
  to Marden Links Hub yourself.\n\nTo control the number of people arriving
  together outside the hub\, advance booking is essential.\nThe first slot 
 is from 10.00 to 10:30 and the last from 12 noon to 12:30pm. We need to co
 mplete all repairs by 12:30\, as we will need half an hour to clear and cl
 ean up.\n\nBook Now \n\nHygiene.  Items should be cleaned as far as poss
 ible.  Clothing items must be washed or dry-cleaned before you bring them
  to us.\n\nPlease bring your item to our reception desk first. We will the
 n allocate it to the most appropriate repairer.\n\nThere will be a small c
 afé operating in the hub\, and outside if the weather is nice.  You can 
 wait here and enjoy refreshments if you wish or you may leave and we will 
 contact you by phone when your item is ready for collection.  Provided th
 e repairer also consents\, you may sit with the repairer while the item is
  being examined and repaired.\n\nIf you leave the hub\, please keep your m
 obile phone with you and switched on\, as the repairer may need to speak t
 o you about your item.  After repair\, or if your item cannot be repaire
 d\, we will ‘phone you\, so you can collect it from the hub.\n\nItems mu
 st be collected by 12.30pm as we need to clear up the hub by 1pm.\n\nMarde
 n Repair Café does not charge a fee for either repairs or refreshments\, 
 but you can leave a donation towards our running costs which we will grate
 fully accept.\n\nBefore booking a slot we ask you to read our Terms and C

 gree that we can store the data that you have submitted.\n\n\nFor each of 
 the time slots below we can accept a maximum of 1 item per person.\nTo pic
 k a time slot\, select ‘1’ in the associated box.  You can only choos
 e one time slot.\nDon’t forget to put a description of the item and the 
 problem in the ‘Details of broken item’ box.\n\nIf you need assistance
