Booking will re-open as normal for the May date \n \;\n\nWe of fer a repair service for portable household items of a mechanical\, electr ical or ceramic nature\, tool sharpening and simple sewing and clothing re pairs. We can also advise on repair options for wooden furniture\, providi ng it is hand-portable and you can transport it to Marden Links Hub yourse lf.\n\nTo control the number of people arriving together outside the hub\, advance booking is essential.\nThe first slot is from 10.00 to 10:30 and the last from 12 noon to 12:30pm. We need to complete all repairs by 12:30 \, as we will need half an hour to clear and clean up.\n\nBook Now \n\nHyg iene.  Items should be cleaned as far as possible.  Clothing items must be washed or dry-cleaned before you bring them to us.\n\nPlease bring you r item to our reception desk first. We will then allocate it to the most a ppropriate repairer.\n\nThere will be a small café operating in the hub\, and outside if the weather is nice.  You can wait here and enjoy refresh ments if you wish or you may leave and we will contact you by phone when y our item is ready for collection.  Provided the repairer also consents\, you may sit with the repairer while the item is being examined and repaire d.\n\nIf you leave the hub\, please keep your mobile phone with you and sw itched on\, as the repairer may need to speak to you about your item.  A fter repair\, or if your item cannot be repaired\, we will ‘phone you\, so you can collect it from the hub.\n\nItems must be collected by 12.30pm as we need to clear up the hub by 1pm.\n\nMarden Repair Café does not cha rge a fee for either repairs or refreshments\, but you can leave a donatio n towards our running costs which we will gratefully accept.\n\nBefore boo king a slot we ask you to read our Terms and Conditions (Opens in a new tab).
