The Jane Shelley Charity makes grants towards the cost books and equipment to former pupils of Marden & Sutton St Nicholas Schools who are starting further education. Further awards are not normally made to those who have already received grants.

Marden Village Trust

Marden Village trust was set up to provide property to be held in trust for use as a village hall for the benefits of the inhabitants of the parish of Marden.

Marden Recreation Ground Trust

The Marden Recreation Ground Trust is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the playing fields Including the football pitch and changing rooms, tennis court, multi use ball court and play equipment.

Our aim is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for reacreational activities and events in Marden.

In addition the Trust is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the playing field. The Committee is also responsible for organising the paper recycling skip, profits from which contribute towards the playing field operating costs.

Pre-school (18 months – 5 years old)
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:15 pm
Friday: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
After School Club
Monday to Thursday: 3:15 pm – 5:15 pm
Our Aim is to:-

  • Provide a friendly relaxed atmosphere, where children can learn through play and investigation
  • Provide and environment that is safe and secure
  • Provide a pre-school that is open to all children and families
  • Provide a service which meets the needs of working parents.
